"Jeff has worked with the HPC-Vancouver swimmers since the fall of 2016 delivering swimming specific yoga classes twice a week. The swimmers have enjoyed the approach and orientation that Jeff brings to every class. I feel they are more flexible, more aware of their bodies and are able to control their thoughts much better."
Tom Johnson 11 time Canadian Olympic Swim Team Coach
Jeff has worked with my swimmers during taper leading into this summer's championship season. His work with them helped those on taper relax and visualize, and others that were still a few weeks away from rest to stay loose and pliable while building core strength.
Jeff does a great job introducing movements that are new to the athletes as well as refining techniques of athletes that are more experienced with yoga.
The best part about having Jeff work with the swimmers is his understanding of the sport and his ability to create yoga movements that are directly transferable to movements in the pool.

I invited Jeff to run a Yoga Session for my athletes. Jeff asked me questions about what my goals were for the session, then he perfectly tailored the session to meet these objectives and the specific needs we have in our sport.
Jeff demonstrated resourcefulness. He was clear with his instruction and patient with my athletes with their novice yoga skills.
It is unique finding someone who understands sport and can deliver yoga sessions geared for the specific needs of the sport while following the coach's objectives.
I have no hesitation in recommending Jeff Grace.

Jeff's yoga sessions greatly enhanced our age group swim team's dry-land training program. His background in coaching young athletes helped create a disciplined, challenging atmosphere. Our swimmers were focused and improved their strength, flexibility and body awareness under Jeff's guidance.

As an aging competitive masters swimmer, both flexibility and core strength have become of increasing importance in my dryland training regimen. Unfortunately, like many time constrained adults, conventional "stretching" often ends up on the backburner (it's boring). Enter Jeff - he has created a focused program to target my swimming specific needs as a sprinter and has effectively improve my mobility in the pool.
With Masters World Championships less than 6 weeks away, my body feels more "dialed" for performance and slowly but surely, my areas of chronic tightness are disappearing. I highly recommend Jeff's program for anyone trying to maximize training efficiency while keeping it interesting.

Over the last three seasons Jeff has been a key part of of our swim club. His years as a swim coach give him a keen understanding of what a swimmer needs, perhaps more importantly what an athlete needs to create balance and address the physically deficient areas that will allow them to progress in their sport in a healthy and holistic way.

"We have had the pleasure of bringing jeff up to our program for the past two years. Regardless of their level the kids really enjoyed and benefited from the swim specific poses and breathing exercises. He did a great job adjusting to the different ages from development to snrs. His charisma and presence during his sessions left the kids w knowledge and fun memories for a lifetime. "
